Gestern haben wir noch berichtet, dass das Alkaline Trio an einem neuen Album arbeitet, heute können wir hinzufügen dass die Platte auf einem neuen Label erscheinen wird. Die Band verlässt also Vagrant und steht ab sofort bei V2 Records unter Vertrag. Eine Pressemitteilung inklusive Statements von Matt Skiba und Dan Andriano gibt es in den Kommentaren.Am 14. November erscheint tatsächlich schon das neue Album So Divided von ...And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead. Mit Wasted State Of Mind kann man sich < hier > einen ersten Song anhören.
Am 27. Januar werden sich in den USA beim Maryland Hardcore And Metal Fest Earth Crisis zu einer einmaligen Reunion-Show zusammenfinden.
Die Südamerika-Tour von NOFX verläuft ziemlich kompliziert. Weil in Peru mal wieder eine Show abgesagt werden musste, hat Fat Mike für 200 wartende Fans einfach ein kurzes Akustik-Set vorm Hotel gespielt. < Hier > kann man mal reinschauen.Der The Notwist-Dokumentarfilm On/Off The Record wird vor seiner Veröffentlichung auf DVD am 03. November in einigen Kinos zu sehen sein. Städte und Termine finden sich in den Kommentaren.
Ende diesen Monats kommen die Australier von Jet auf Tour durch Deutschland. Auch diese Daten findet ihr noch einmal in den Kommentaren.

Alkaline Trio - Pressemitteilung
Alkaline Trio have a new home at V2. The label is the home of the Blood Brothers, the Adored, the White Stripes and Gang Of Four. The independent label was started by Richard Branson of Virgin Records fame, but is privately owned currently and connected to Artemis Records.
In 2005, the band released Crimson, their third album for Vagrant Records and fifth studio album overall.
Guitarist/vocalist Matt Skiba had this to say:
"We are proud to be working with V2 and already feel very much a home on our new label. We found in V2 exactly what we were looking for: trust, friendship and the ability to continue to grow as a band. Yet, we left Vagrant Records on very amicable terms and are very thankful for all they have done for us thus far."
His bandmate Dan Andriano adds:
"We're super excited about our new situation. V2 has managed to surround themselves with an amazing roster that transcends genres, and breaks through indie rock stereotypes."

falls du damit darauf anspielen willst, dass viele vorab-sauger sich kritisch äußern: sich eine eigene meinung zu bilden ist doch immer noch am besten.
