Mai den Nachfolger zu Our Earthly Pleasures veröffentlichen. In einem Statement beschreibt die Band das neue Album so: “We've got weird dreamy effects on the guitars and the synthesizers are more extreme than we've dealt with. We're still Maximo Park and it still sounds like us, but there's a very distinct groove-based, upbeat vibe.“. Außerdem kommen die Herren nächste Woche für drei exklusive Shows in äußerst kleinen Rahmen nach Deutschland: 23.02. Berlin, Lido / 02.03. München, Registratur / 03.03. Köln, Gebäude 9. MxPx werden On The Cover II am 24. März veröffentlichen. Die Tracklist des zweiten kompletten Cover-Albums in der Geschichte der Band findet ihr in den Kommentaren. Das neue Album von The Thermals trägt den Titel Now We Can See und wird gleichzeitig das Kill Rock Stars-Debüt der Band werden. Der Titeltrack verspricht Großes und kann bereits < hier > heruntergeladen werden. Die Platte erscheint dann am 18. April. Anberlin haben auf ihrer MySpace-< Seite > ihre komplette Diskographie zum Anhören bereit gestellt. Das Pressure Fest wird in diesem Jahr zwei Mal stattfinden. Zunächst als kleinere Version am 27. & 28. Juni im Essener JZE Paperstraße und dann am 08. & 09. August in der großen Ausgabe. Für die ersten Termine wurden schon die ersten Bands bestätigt, unter anderem Have Heart und Rise And Fall. Weitere Bands und ein großes Statement der Veranstalter findet ihr in den Kommentaren. Das Area4 Festival in Lüdinghausen findet vom 21. bis 23. August statt und hat neue Bands im Line-Up: Kettcar, Rise Against, Turbostaat. Ebenfalls neue Bands gibt es auch schon wieder bei Hurricane und Southside zu vermelden: Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Ska-P, The Ting Tings, Nneka und The Asteroids Galaxy Tour. Man glaubt es kaum, Limp Bizkit kommen in Original-Besetzung auf Europa-Tour: 09.06. Hamburg, Stadtpark / 10.06. Dortmund, Westfalenhalle 3a / 17.06. Berlin, Columbiahalle Oasis werden am 28. Februar bei "Wetten, dass..?!" auftreten. Auf der MySpace-< Seite > von Fire In The Attic gibt es einen weiteren Song des am 13. März erscheinenden, selbstbetitelten Albums zu Hören. Außerdem findet ihr in den Kommentaren jede Menge frisch bestätigte Shows der Band. Gestern Abend sind Simon And Garfunkel bei einer Überraschungs-Reunionshow zusammen in New York aufgetreten. Wobei alle drei Thermals Platten klasse waren. Mein Favorit ist allerdings die "Fuckin' A". Beitrag von: Christian an 20. 02 2009, 00:58 Würde auch die Fuckin' A als meinen Favoriten bezeichnen, aber das letzte Album war überaus großartig. Nach den Live-Eindrücken im Dezember und der jetzigen Single erwarte ich auch Großes von der neuen Platte. Wobei die Band ja eigentlich gar nicht enttäuschen kann. Copyright 2000-2005 purerock.de |
