Die letzten Wochen waren für Fans von Boysetsfire eine harte Zeit. Erst kündigte die Band völlig überraschend ihre Auflösung an und dann passierte der schwere Unfall von Josh Latshaw. Der Gitarrist ist zum Glück wieder auf dem Weg der Besserung und zum Dank für die enorme, auch finanzielle, Unterstützung der Fans hat die Band auf ihrer < Website > zwei Versionen des Songs Never Surrender zum Download bereitgestellt. Es handelt sich dabei um ein unveröffentlichtes Stück aus den Aufnahmen zum aktuellen Album The Misery Index: Notes From The Plague Years. Außerdem kommt die Band in der nächsten Woche noch einmal für einige Abschiedskonzerte nach Europa, wo man dann die letzte Möglichkeit haben wird Boysetsfire noch einmal live zu sehen. Josh Latshaw wird dann übrigens durch den Ersatzgitarristen Rev Rakus vertreten. Die relevanten Daten findet ihr noch einmal in den Kommentaren. Hingehen!

Hi all, it's Jason again. I wanted to personally thank you wonderful fans for the generosity you have shown for Josh. Talking about you to him really lifts his spirits, and his family appreciates your donations so much.
Josh is still in the Shock Trauma Unit at University of Maryland (at first he was only meant to be there 2-3 days, but that has obviously been extended as this was more serious then originally known). He had a frightening episode of vomiting up old blood, but that is now resolved with some more surgery and the insertion of yet another tube. The doctors have now said though that he will have a full recovery, though they are not able to estimate how long it will take.
I know that BSF fans have had a couple horrible weeks, so I wanted to give you a little bit of good news. As a thanks to those of you who have donated to Josh, you can download an unreleased track from the Misery Index recordings called "Never Surrender." If you listen to the lyrics of this song, you'll see they fit what Josh is going through, so even though they didn't know it at the time, I think they wrote this for him.
