Ex-Waxwing-Mastermind Rocky Votolato hat zwei neue Songs von seinem bald erscheinenden zweiten Album "Makers" auf seiner MySpace-Page zum Streamen bereit gestellt. Das ganze Werk wird dann am 24. Ob sie ihre eigenen Alben zwecks Kompensation des Trennungsschmerzes in Anspruch nehmen?Sehr viel Glück im Unglück hingegen hatten Every Time I Die, die fast bei einem Auto-Unfall ums Leben kamen. Aufgenommen wurde mit Ben Hiller (Blur, Doves) auf einem Bauernhof in Yorkshire, ein Release-Date sollte in Kürze folgen.The Arcade Fire hingegen haben noch ein Jahr voller Arbeit vor sich, soll deren Nachfolger zu Everybody's Darling-Album "Funeral" noch im Herbst erscheinen. Nicht nur, dass viele Songs noch erst geschrieben werden müssen, haben sich die Kanadier doch eine Kirche südlich von Montreal gekauft, die sie zu einem Studio umbauen wollen. It's all about inspiration, baby!

fter seven years as a band with various lineups, 3 records and over a thousand shows, FSF agree it is time to move on to other things in our lives. We have enjoyed touring the world over these years, and meeting all of our incredible fans. All of the members of FSF remain the best of friends and look forward to the future, whatever it may bring.
Further Seems Forever will be playing our final shows in early 2006. They will be with the full electric band. We will be doing spot shows in various cities across the country and Canada. We will do our best to play as many places as possible but several members now have full-time jobs and other full time commitments. We hope to see all our fans out at the shows and look forward to playing for you one more time.
We won’t be recording a new record but there will be some unreleased material coming out as well as a DVD with live footage and videos.
We will be keeping our MySpace page current and you can check that page as well as this site for new info on shows, the DVD and any other FSF related news.
EVERY TIME I DIE-STATEMENT
We really should have died. The first thing that went through my head when I realized our van was doing cartwheels off the i-80 was “I bet Cliff Burton is going through Andy’s head". Then I was all "Fuck! Jordan must have flinched right before hitting the launch ramp we built" then some glass broke, a shitload of poop fell out, the roof was at my feet, Durst (who was surfing on top of the van like Styles in Teen Wolf) was thrown into a perfect 720 double backflip and totally stuck the landing, and my long island iced tea was spilt all over my 1/2 pound of alaskan king crab legs.
We want to thank the Laramie Wyoming police department for arriving at the speed of light maple syrup. Within the blink of an eye (for someone in a 45 minute coma) they (i mean he) was on the scene- belittling, yelling, arguing and refusing to let us stay warm in his police car.
We apologize to anyone in the midwest and western coast looking forward to seeing us, but you will have your chance again soon.
